You may have noticed that when you arrive at the forum index (home) page it tells you how many people are using the forums .... it's down at the bottom, looking something like this ....

Who is online
In total there are 2 users online :: 1 registered, 0 hidden and 1 guest (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)
Most users ever online was 28 on Mon 06 Apr 2009 @ 11:41

Quite often you may see three, four or five "Guests", as well as yourself. The sad news is that they are most likely "web-crawlers" or "bots", collecting data for search engines (like Google). They are perfectly harmless, we control which ones have access, so there shouldn't be any "rogues".

However, there is a new breed of bot out there ..... and it's bit smarter than the older ones .....

.... not quite "Artificial Intelligence" but definitely a good example of "artificial stupidity" targeted at "fat, dumb and unpartnered/unhappy" middle-aged males.
