Goodnight Irene!

Buggrit, buggrit, buggrit :!:

There's a bit of very bad news on the M-U accommodation page for the Irene ....

The roof room has been extended for the 2010 season and now comprises of a two bedroom apartment which is ideal for a family of 4.

Gone forever, our personal, private plateau of peace for a pair in paradise. Book me a heart transplant, this one's broken.

Let's have some clarification here!! The roof room is amazing now at the Irene. The owner has planned it so that you can lie in bed and see the sea. The new room has balcony doors and a big window and even I am envious of whoever might be staying there! There is still lots of room for private sunbathing and whats better - it is even more private than before if you get my drift........
As a by the way, Katerina and Efi are also adding a roof room which should be ready by June and that also is fantastic but for a maximum of 3 people.
I will be putting photos in of both when they are ready. The only drawback for me personally would be the stairs as my knees are no longer in the fountain of their youth.

You're more than welcome to join us on the roof for a nice warm Metaxa in August, but you'll need to put some clothes on first !!! :crylaugh

Hello All

I'm staying in the rooftop sept/oct time - the new improvements sound wonderful - really can't wait. I know all you red-blooded males will be gutted but I think i'll give the nude sunbathing a miss - though by all accounts it seems compulsory on the rooftop!!!!!!!

best wishes

We have the chance of staying in the roof room in July - is it really as good as you are all saying ?
"Unfortunately " we will have our 12 year old with us and the chance of "private" sunbathing etc isnt quite so alluring unless i can send him to the Luis and tell him to lie about his age !
Wondering whether to save the wallet this time and stay at the Yiannis instead ??
