Interesting comment on MU today about AIs. It is of course how the big boys work, screwing the cost to within an inch of bankruptcy for the provider, but on the plus side, provides much needed seasonal employment.

On a strictly personal note, I can't see the point of a four hour flight to be cocooned in a "holiday village", eating food I've already paid for, that can't possibly come up to the mark, given the budget allowed! We know this when they arrive in the village, complete with wristbands, and devour all that is put in front of them! We are normally begging for smaller portions, by comparison.

Last year we hired a car and stopped at a resort which shall remain nameless to protect the innocent, NOT Kardemena where I was dismayed to learn I could purchase a chip butty. The English lady who seved us fappes in another taverna informed us that at least one German AI even shipped all the food out from Germany!! Hearsay evidence, but nothing would surprise me.
