Just throwing in a thought here. Had there been an earthquake anywhere in the area at the time as I have known that to have a similar effect? Can't say I remember but I only take note of the ones I actually feel!!

i have some photos i'd like to share but can't figure out how to do it - can anyone help !
tried hitting the insert image button but just get [/img][/img] in the text box
Feeling like a numpty even tho i use a computer every day - what am i missing / doing wrong ??

First off, you MUST have an online version of the picture(s) - there are lots of "free" hosting services, like Photobucket, Webshots, Flickr, Picassa, etc.

Copy the image location (URL) from the host-site.

Paste it into your post, here.

Select/highlight the URL and then hit the image button .... so it puts the img /img tags around the URL; something like this:
