We know the feeling well! It can't be just the landing fees that jack the flight costs up. I see Easyjet fares to Kos are creeping up as well.

Sam was playing around on the Thomas Cook websites and seems to have caused strange things to happen to the pricing policy

Net result, after phone the "help line" (correctly named, for once), we've got a couple of weeks flight, accommodation and standard extras for less than the Kos flight only .... however, it's in Agios Nikolaos, on the mainland Mani (the "middle finger" of the Peloponnese).

We know resort and apartments (by reputation) and though it too good to miss.

Anyway, there's still September/October ........

We are going out on 5th August, probably for a week, then we are going over to Turkey for 2 weeks. At the moment we are looking to stay at Ilios and Irini but haven't booked yet I'm not very organised yet am I?

Add Ian and Bev to the list were staying at the Yiannis (near Luis) from 8th to 23rd July (got an extra day coz the flights not til 05.40 am !)

Well, it's now official!! We have now paid for the flights in full, and subject to Eyjafjallajokull will be downing a Mythos on 29.07.

Now only 5 days to go ....hoping it warms up a little bit more as its only 31 - 32 degrees c and Daphne still says a cardy might be needed for nights !

Well guys only one more day and we'll be in heaven - fly tomorrow night and arrive in Mastihari Friday morning
Daphne advises "cardi maybe needed for nights" I think i'll risk it and leave mine at home with me pipe and slippers
